LOL...you go, boy! It's so true! Not only are people inconsiderate enough to carry these oversized monstrosities, but on top of it, they're rude about it! They don't even try to maneuver, raise up or move out of the way. Oh...and it's almost ALWAYS a man with the big golf umbrella...worried the rain will mess up the "do", I guess! What happened to the guys that carry a folded newspaper to run through the rain??

"Umbrella Elitists" - very clever!

I have found that you and I have nothing in common. I own no umbrella (huge or anorexic), I don't take a train, heck I don't even take a sidewalk to work. It's like I don't even know you anymore....

The only thing more annoying than people walking along on the sidewalks is people that bring umbrellas to sporting events. I want to stick those big-ass umbrellas up people's asses.

Note to self do not, I repeat do not go to same sporting event as Jay with my big umbrella....that is the only place we use ares, and not too often anymore since the kids grew up, but my ass is gentle ;)

I would have thought an umbrella that size would have blown you away. In the wind we had last night it would have.

The irony is that 'Ads by Google' defaulted an ad on this page for 'Large Assortment Of Durable, All- Weather Umbrellas.' LOL

Dennis Miller? Didn't he used to be funny? I guess his best joke was when he said back in September on O'Leilly that Giuliani had the nomination locked up. Cha-Cha. Cheers!!

When I was in London, I dropped my umbrella cover without realizing it when I was in the Tube. Some Cockney fella saw this and chased after me as I couldn't hear him. He was yelling, 'Oy! Oy! Ya dropped your 'brellie!' He eventually caught up to me. I did thank him but he still gave me a dirty look.

When I would watch Sex in the City, it never showed umbrellas like that. They were all very slim and sexy like.... I think you are making it up ;-)

Well Sex in the City is a true reflection on life in Manhattan you know. I have one night stands every night.
Actually my umbrella does have a feedbag attached to it.
