Wow this was excellent.. we visited Chios and were taken aback by the village and the relationship to Columbus.. It makes all the sense Chios is where Columbus was from , not to mention the sea faring nature of the Island and surrounding islands of Greece..

I maybe think you are correct. Many scientists at the time can understand Greek language such as Gallireo.

Hi ik this sounds crazy but do u guys firmly believe that columbus was from chios (I'm his direct descendant I'm looking for info on him) I can seem to find anything concrete on him..diagos(spellcheck plz )wife I have all her info but Columbus info is overwhelming to say the least and I'm looking for more info on his direct family after Giovanni (his grandfather or his mother I've had many fights with my mother over this subject (she believes the Jewish orgin theory)but I cant denie that the Greek 1 is a strong case too I mena here they are saying they have a columbus family graveyard??? And a family line going to the 9th century ���� does anyone know where I can get concrete info
