I recall reading that at least a couple of non-moving figures ended up at Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean, hauling a treasure chest up the waterfall at the end of the ride.

Yes, I believe that many of the AA figures were reused in some manner. But damn, there were a lot of them!

The wench chasing scene was redone using AA figures in POTC. Also, Tony kept a couple of the gophers that popped up and down...as well as used a couple for a while on the derelict Nature's Wonderland train.

Yep, as mentioned already, some of them ended up in Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland....the 1996 "Politically Correct" version. Some of those figures can be seen here(Epcot In Anaheim) and a few more can be seen here(More Epcot In Anaheim) Some of the figures were also stripped of their skin and stuck into the queue of the Tram Tour at MGM/Disney Studios. I want to know what happened to World of Motion's Sea Serpent that used to be at California Adventure....I hope they didn't toss it into the trash (like the Stouffer's mural from the Plaza Pavilion!) And I still can't believe they gutted World of Motion for something as lame as Test Track!

Oops, sorry....1997 was when POTC was redone, or at least when it actually reopened to the public.
