As much as I love the Disneyland stuff, the ads and amazing vintage illustrations are what really get me! So fantastic. I guess that art director's (or somebody) decided that readers preferred photos over artwork; kind of reminds me of the debate over 2-D hand drawn animation and CG animation. What matters is the quality of the thing, and not the medium!

I didnt see any magazine articles like that in my recent visit to the Disney Family Museum. There may be some in the collection, but most of the things on display were more "first hand", that is, things from the studios or his personal effects. Some were very moving.

Your post is very cool indeed. thanks for sharing these images, a lot of work for you to do, and we appreciate it.
