I don't know how easy these would be to duplicate, with the silver ink. I would love to get a green and/or gold version! Another Disney blogger once had all of the colors of preview tickets (I wanted to buy them but didn't have the dough!). I might be mistaken, but I thought there was a white version as well?

I think I've seen a white version too!!! I guess it's probably not "easy" to duplicate, but we have one of the 100k color copiers at work and it does amazing things, I've seen it make copies that are too close for comfort.

At one time or another, I've had silver, gold, silver and white. I still have the gold. Never seen the orange version outside of an Anaheim museum many years ago.

Well jedblau, that makes sense, since you were the guy who I meant (when I said that somebody had 'em all)! I am still kicking myself for not buying at least one, but I had just bought some posters from you.

Didn't even know about the orange version!

Hey VTD- The price being asked is not out of line on the Green opening day ticket. There are definitely less out there than the silver and gold tickets. And just look at how much the used ticket books just got a couple of weeks ago. And as far as the reproduction or counterfit tickets, that may be a myth as I have never seen one that looked like a counterfit ticket. Remember printing technology in 1955 was not what it is today. Being on metallic coated paper, it is rather difficult to fake them. Even today the paper is tough to fake and a reproduction would stick out.
