It's been so long since I've looked at my Vacationlands that this is like seeing them for the first time again. Love that Tiki Room artwork. And doesn't Papotin look like some of the more toylike dolls in "It's a Small World"?
Ahhhhh! Your Trilogy of Terror link scared me! Poor Karen Black, I wonder if she has nightmares from working with that thing?
That piece of the castle bridge looks dreadful. It sure does look like it just fell. The question is...how long will it remain that way?

Welcome to Disneyland in 1963! We’ve got two super ’63 items in today’s post.
This “Welcome to Disneyland” brochure came in a few different varieties, I’ve got a blue one (’62?) somewhere. Fun drawings on the front and that’s a pretty big flying saucer there in Tomorrowland.

Don’t those Main Street exhibits look neat? Are there interior photos of the Yale & Towne shop out there?

The non-color paper hasn’t held up so well over the years, but the color paper is looking great, I love that original artwork.

Look who I found! Andre Tahon with Papotin’s Revue (link). Yes more fun with the quizzical, mop-haired marionette named Papotin. And for Major, Mr. Tahon prefers to call his puppets “marottes”. Personally I think Andre’s puppets belong in the Trilogy of Terror.
