Wow! Wonderful pictures, on the soft side, but wonderful nonetheless; makes me want to go back to Disneyland. my last visit (You have to know!) was, believe it or not, in 1974.

Thank you for the report.

Thank you for another wonderful report. I do remember seeing that machine play in the Penny Arcade in the past. So why wouldn't Disney fix it? I don't understand them! Sad about the Bengal BBQ too. I used to love their chicken skewers. Oh, and Fort Wilderness looks horrible, but I'm glad to see that they put the cemetary back!

Yet another great trip report! Dang, if only I could have gone that day, it looks wonderfully uncrowded. Love the "omega man" comment!

The pictures of a deserted New Orleans Square are neat. Do you think anybody working at the park knows about the 3 fences? Oh, and your "groovy" photo from Tomorrowland is AWESOME, I've never seen a picture taken of those curvy forms before. If only there was a Peoplemover on it.

That decoration on the Omnibus is pretty, but it sure doesn't feel very authentic. I never knew about that little graveyard on TSI! Bummer about the gross skewers, I hate it when they take a good thing and change it for the worse.

Thanks for the pic of the poster! And for the awesome trip report!!

??? I went to that Sorcerer Mickey/Fortune Red address. It wanted to do some "add ons" to my computer....no thank you! Don't know why I was mentioned in that comment unless it was because I commented on the "machine" from the Penny Arcade. I was referring to the band organ/music machine, not the fortune telling machines.

Great pix! Isn't the park beautiful when it's not packed with ugly people? :)

Hey Tim, my understanding of the band organ in the Penny Arcade is that it currently runs by computer. It plays periodically by itself. Not sure how often, but it does indeed play from time to time.

The stairs in the courtyard next to Pieces of Eight were the original front door to the Disney suite above Pirates. There used to be a doorbell and speaker on the bottom landing of the stairs.

The doorbell was removed circa 1993. The stairs used to access the Disney gallery were installed circa 1987 (with the Pirates Bridge?).

When Fantasmic! first premiered you could wait on the stairs to view the show from the Disney Gallery balcony. Until somebody figured out they could charge for the privelege.
