I would love to see these ties in an Etsy shop! I would buy one for sure! I just love the fabric you used, it's so different from the usual ties out there.

You would think by the title that my recipe today is Chicken...sorry I am actually serving up some of this...

This little dream concoction is what we here call Kate's Fruit Soup. It is just about the most delightful thing you will have in a bowl, well besides maybe a heaping bowl of ice cream...but you will feel better about this, AND you can serve it at a dinner/brunch without odd looks from your hubby.
It is super easy to make and is a crowd pleaser!
Kate's Fruit Soup
1 1/2 cups water1/3 cup sugar5 tablespoons minute tapioca9 oz frozen orange juice concentrate3 cups water1 10 oz bag frozen berries (in the above I used blackberries, blueberries are awesome also)2-3 cups sliced strawberries4 large oranges, sectioned*3 bananas, sliced
Combine 1 1/2 cups water, sugar, and tapioca in sauce pan. Bring to boil over med high heat. Stir constantly until mixture is clear and gelatinous, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, or a large pretty pitcher, mix 9 oz of concentrate, warm tapioca, and 3 cups water. Stir until well combined. Add berries and oranges. Can be made up until this point and stored in the fridge until time to serve. Add sliced bananas right before serving.
Serve chilled. Also, make sure you stir well, sometimes the tapioca settles at the bottom.
ENJOY! *How to Section an Orange: I did not know exactly how to do this the first time I made this...lucky for me I have a "How to Cook Everything" book that helped a sister out...if you don't know how here is a tutorial I found that can show you how.
