Deeann...half and half is typically like half milk half cream. So you can make your own by taking the measurement and making half of it milk and half cream.

Since the recipe makes 2 loaves, could you freeze one? How well does it freeze, thaw/reheat?

Our loaves didn't last that long...hahahaha...we kind of scarfed them down.

I have no idea how they freeze. Most bread freezes fine, the only question would be the cream cheese mixture in the middle.

Let me know how it goes if you try it.
