I totally understand the whole break thing. It can be rough when they have nothing. I do not know if this would be of any intrest to you, but I struggled with the same thing. To fix it we started doing what I saw on someone else's blog. She schooled through out the year. She would go for three weeks then take a week off. We started doing it and it works wonderfully. The kids get a little break every month and no burn out. Ok I have rambled on enough. Have a great day and try to stay cool.

Thanks for the suggestion, however we have tried this in the past and things felt far too choppy for us. Which is why we do the 10 weeks on 2 or 3 weeks off schedule generally. Spring session though she finished things up early so she got two extra weeks off, so it was just a bit too long. Now she knows though and can realize and understand the why we schedule things the way we do.

Hi - Thanks for wanting to share your ideas & comments! I love hearing what others have to say, but just so that everyone is aware, I have the right and option to decide to post a comment or not. Foul language, inappropriate comments, lashing out at the world, or posting irrelevant ad links are a few reasons why posts may be rejected. My daughter & her friends like to frequently see what is being posted so therefore I would like to keep it clean.
I also have a tendency to reject "Anonymous" posts as I feel the content is not verifiable, therefore is often either irrelevant or not viable.
If your comment has been accepted - it will generally appear in less than 24 hours! Thanks Gina
