That miniature library sounds like a Little Free Library. There's one in my neighborhood (in Brooklyn) too. There's a town in Wisconsin that's actually banned the things.

How did you get the pouchy to play?

Barry Lindon is a great film. Legendary for it's use of natural light cinematography. The candle scenes were shot with lenses made originally for NASA.
