I don't see why the democrats are hanging on to this idea of global warming. Its been disproved, everyone knows that it is a hoax. Why can't they just let it go. I'm sick of hearing about it, its not real. The only thing they can prove is that the Earth's temperature rose about a degree in the last 100 years. All that means is that in a few hundred years we will be wearing shorts on Christmas. Can't the democrats think of a more creative scam to put on the Americans?

Harry Reid will be proved right. These fires are hot (hence the fire thing). They will increase the earths temperature insignificantly, but will still increase the temp. Damn those Santa Ana winds and those wildfires. Why couldn't they be selective and just burn in places like Harrys house in Nevada, etc.

“One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters Tuesday, stressing the need to pass the Democrats’ comprehensive energy package.
Moments later, when asked by a reporter if he really believed global warming caused the fires, he appeared to back away from his comments, saying there are many factors that contributed to the disaster.
Harry Reid is depraved in ways I had only imagined. To democrats, every human tragedy, every natural disaster, every weather event, in fact every waking moment, presents an opportunity to advance their awful global-warming agenda. It's really just a poorly disguised attempt to seize more and more control over the American economy, the American people, and render us entirely dependent on them as the wise enligtened class. With a little luck, "Dingy" Harry will go the way of his predecessor Tom Daschle, that is the voters will kick him into the dark rathole of history.
