Al Gore is running around in a panic for several reasons: 1-with the economy in a mess, nobody gives a crap about the environment any more. 2-global warming is a proven hoax and therefor 3-his livelyhood is threatened because he can no longer profit by scaring everybody into living like third-world bedouins to save the planet.
This is the "study" he has resorted to citing to try to panic everybody once again.....
A new study suggests the Mayan civilization might have collapsed due to environmental disasters:
"'These models suggest that as ecosystems were destroyed by mismanagement or were transformed by global climatic shifts, the depletion of agricultural and wild foods eventually contributed to the failure of the Maya sociopolitical system,' writes environmental archaeologist Kitty Emery of the Florida Museum of Natural History in the current Human Ecology journal."
As we move towards solving the climate crisis, we need to remember the consequences to civilizations that refused to take environmental concerns seriously.
Environmental disasters killed the Mayans? There were no coal plants, no SUV's, no internal combustion of any kind. So what was the nature of the environmental disaster? Could it have been that the Mayan civilization simply ran it's course....sort of like global warming hysteria? This accurately depicts Al Gore these days....and pretty much all days for that matter.
