You have made me long for crab apple jelly! I made it every year when I lived around the corner from a crab apple tree, but since I moved back to Melbourne I have been without. i will have to start some serious searching!

I've never seen crab apples before and I'm only guessing that making a jelly out of it is real tasty. I'm for jelly anytime.

We tried to make the jelly but it didn't set up. Any ideals... can wwe add pectin

You just need to cook it down more as the apples have their own natural pectin. Take all the jelly and place it back it the pot and reduce.
