i've never tried a fruit butter before, and am surprised to see it has no butter in it. this looks delicious!

I've heard of apple butter but never tried it. Sounds very tasty though so I think I will need to add this to my recipe list!

I've always thought that apple butter had cream in it, or something to give it it's thicker, creamier texture. But this is definitely more healthy - aside from all the sugar! And its a great way to use all of these fall apples that are starting to come into season.

I've never been a fan of apple butter but the addition of the plums sounds great. I think the color and texture is really nice too.

I've never made fruit butter but I like the sound of it as it cuts out all the things I hate about jam making!

This sounds great. I've just moved house and have apple and plum trees in the garden absolutely laden with fruit. This could be the answer I've been looking for!

That sounds absolutely gorgeous Katie, and it's such a lovely colour too. I too love the combo of apples and those spices and swirled into porridge and yogurt sounds great!
