That is simply inspired! I know they sell butter oil or whatever that butter flavoring it is. That would be so cool to have buttered popcorn ice cream!

a fascinating flavour - did you try softening the icecream and mixing a little with some finely chopped popcorn for the texture as well as the flavour - shame we probably wont get to taste the icecream in Australia

This is such a great idea! I can't wait until it's a bit warmer (it is currently sooo cold!) to make this :)

I bought a carton the other day and it was delicious. Your version sounds great, all the flavour and texture! Wonderful!

Your ice cream looks such a lovely texture - mine's always been a bit grainy

You're so clever. I love that y ou figured out how to make this on your own. I've heard that sweet corn ice cream is very good too. Maybe that would taste more like you were expecting???

I've always liked buttered popcorn with chocolate ice cream- so good!

What a great idea. I like your method of doing it too. I think if asked to come up with popcorn ice-cream I'd have just added popcorn which perhaps wouldn't have made for the best texture. Not so sure about the mustard flavour, but ......!
