This sounds like the perfect breakfast. That's the thing that turns me off to some things when baking, the sheer quantity that it produces. I mean, my samll family (4 people) will not eat 12 cupcakes before they start to not taste as great as day 1. I like this idea :)

Oooh, yum! I hadn't thought of having scones for breakfast, and this one looks delicious.

I'm one of those people that tends to have the same breakfast each day - not cereal, but fruit and either yogurt or bread/toast. Mind you, I do vary the bread, whatever I've made (although I have to admit that the black pepper rye bread wasn't quite the ideal breakfast material!!!)

Such a great idea. I don't know why I still have not attempted my own scones but I may give this a try! Plus I'm always looking for new breakfast ideas.

Looks great - I love the idea - I will fixate on one thing for breakfast for a while and then will suddenly change. I also love the idea of a little gf snack for one that would be great to try if you make a batch of scones or loaf of bread for everyone else

I hear you sista! I hear you! Genius breakfast scone idea. For me it would need a nice fried egg on top!

I so agree with you on varying breakfasts! I much prefer to alternate and can't understand why people, my partner included can eat the same thing day in, day out!

Love the idea of a single scone, perfect breakfast for one!

Brilliant idea! Must admit, I tend to have the same thing every weekday, but make sure I have something exciting at the weekends - will remember to try this.
