There is something to be said for such classic flavour combos like this. They make you feel warm and cosy on the inside just remembering the taste! Will be giving this one a try for sure.

O nostalgia! When I was a child the family would go blackberry picking in the Autumn and my mum would make blackberry jam to last the year and a huge pie just like this one! Thanks for the post!

Not only is the pie gorgeous and delicious sounding, but your way of writing about it is sublime. I can almost feel the prick of the blackberry thorns and smell the mingled apple and blackberry scents. Very evocative prose...makes me want a piece right now!
