Ok, I have not seen something that I feel like I have to make imediately in such a long time! This looks absolutely fantastic! I thought this was going to be pancake recipe. From the thumbnail picture it looks like a stack of pancakes with some whipped cream, haha. I read the title, but it didn't click in my head. Oh well. I still really want this bad!

That's funny about the guest stealing another bite--I feel that way sometimes but try to control myself! I used a different recipe and did bake my meringue at a lower temperature for 2 hours. It was crisp, but a bit chewy too after a night in the refrigerator. Yours looks delicious!

I had the same problem with my meringue not getting crisp. The second batch I kept in the oven a bit longer with the heat turned off. That helped tremendously!
