Yum yum, so delicious! I'd cook both of these again in a flash. Plus making the cake is a great excuse for opening a bottle of vino. See you soon! xx

Wow. This looks so good! And really easy too, which is nice since I am not a baker :)

Thanks so much for sharing

I made something very similar to this recently (from Delicious magazine) but I really wish I'd known about the wine, it would have made it even better. Definitely one to try, thanks :)

sounds delicious - imagine it would be lovely with a glass of wine at the end of the meal

What an unusual recipe - sounds great. There is always wine open in this house so that certainly wouldn't be a problem!

It looks lovely!

My sister and I have similar diet issues (I don't eat meat and she can't eat gluten or dairy) so I'm always looking for interesting things to make when she comes to stay!

This sounds delicious, I am in love with citrus at the moment. I've been looking for a nice gluten free recipe to make for a friend, I think this might be perfect. Beautiful cake!

I can totally understand the part on the wet, sticky, sweet surface, I love it when cakes do that. I hope sure you and your sister had a great time!

Oh that looks so good. The original with the strawberries on top is lovely too. I never would have thought to bake with wine, but it looks like a winner.
