Looks great, Katie! I haven't had grape jelly in years.

BTW, I'd call this a jam rather than a jelly as it still contains the skins of the grapes. Grape jelly is beautifully translucent, in the same vein as our redcurrant jelly.

Love the labels, too. A very nice touch!

Thanks for the info Angela, I never knew what grape jelly was supposed to be like. I might have to give it a second attempt.

When I was a girl we always had grape jelly for the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. My dad always made grape jelly in the early fall. Your jam looks beautiful! Nice labels, too.

Definitely the time of year for jam making. I'm planning some damson jam this weekend - hope it comes out as nicely as yours!

I love grape jam, but have never had it homemade before. I bet that was amazing!

My peanut butter sandwich is in the mail. Please go heavy on the grape jelly when it arrives. :) This is still my favorite lunch hands down. Great post Katie!

The only jelly my mother doesn't make. I will send this to her in hopes that she will make me some. :)

I love the colour of that jam/jelly! Looks wonderful and I bet it tastes even better. I guess it is hard to ripen grapes here in the UK. Someone gave me a vine for my birthday (...as I work in the wine trade...). I haven't planted it yet, but hopefully it will eventually yield some good edible grapes! Perhaps I'll try this recipe.

Hello - this recipe sounds great! I have been getting my jellies, preserves, Green Iced Tomotes, etc. at Jamsnjelly.com. Go to the site and see what I mean. They have hot pepper jams mixed with mangos and pecans and strawberries and other fruit. The store is NC and I found it when we went on vacation. Call them up and talk to them the owner is really nice.
