Thanks for this list. I had no idea Halle was so tall. i really thought she was a tiny sister. And Macy Gray and May Anjelou stand 6 ft! Wonderful!!!

I didn't either. But then again Halle was a model and 5'6" is the minimum height for many modeling agencies.

Thank-you for making my year!! (OK so we are only four days into it.

At 6' 1/2" i was beginning to really worry about being too tall for transition. Now one of my BIG problems has gone!

I so appreciate this list! Especially with myself being 6'2" I totally understand that it is a bit of a mind tussel wondering if mabey your too tall, and at alot of times you feel like your the only one but thanks to this list, I have a new found respect and appreciation for this beutiful height God has blessed me with :)

I just found your site while looking up the height of a celebrity. This may sound odd, but I'm always trying to find someone of my height to compare how I look to others. I'm 5'9" and everyone around me, at work, shopping, etc..., is short. I have about ten pair of 2 to 3 inch heels that I don't wear because of my height. I am plesantly surprised by the list, especially Halle. I will add your site to my favorites because it seems like in my old age I'm having issues with being tall. Seems like my height is affecting the clothes I buy and the shoes I wear. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

I absolutely LOVE your site. I'm 5'7" and like MY LOOK better in heels and find myself curious when it comes to how tall other sistahs are.

Thanks for pulling this list together. I see that I'm good company :)

Like Tonya, I'm adding you to my favorites.
