Okay,.. A man who doesn't bother to marry the mother of his children, fathers another one while she's pregnant is going to give out relationship advice.
Spousal abuse is about 2 people's problems (not to mention their families of origin), not just the male in this case. That doesn't excuse Chris Brown (who did grow up in a highly abusive environment) but it does mean that Rihanna has just as many issues to sort out as her abusive partner does. Removing the abused partner from the relationship is just the beginning. They need to have a serious course of therapy and self-examination as to why they were in this particular relationship in the first place. I'm not placing blame, but if I were her parents, and knew anything about Chris' family history (which was available in the media) I would have had extreme issues about their relationship in the first place. But, of course, I don't know what went on behind closed doors then or now.
