I swear.. if I hadn't found my current bairstylist, Marie.. I might've given up by now, probably in a bad way. The woman is a hair wizard, and hair REALLY makes the look, makes or breaks it.

I wish I knew an equivalent magazine to show me styles and explain how to keep them for my own type of hair. I know, I know, I can see the latest popular styles for white people in...just about every other magazine on the shelf, but none of them explain to me the intricacies of keeping it looking good once I leave that chair at the salon. I admit I have some serious hair control problems, which means an excessive usage of Mousse.

Ah, well, here's hoping one of my bio-girl friends can give me a heads up.

There is a magazine similar to SBH for women of your ethnic heritage.

You can find it at many Borders, Barnes and Noble and Walgreen's newsmagazine racks.
