SeaMonica, As far as I'm concerned, the best eras for music were the 50's through the 80's.
It started slipping for me quality wise around the mid 90's

[Image] I did a post in honor of the Fourth of July called National Anthems with Soul. I put together a short list of great African-American performances of the national anthem.
Well, that list wouldn't be complete without this one. The late great Jimi Hendrix playing the national anthem on his guitar 40 years ago at Woodstock.
