Spurgeon on Christmas and Roman Catholicism Bush shouldn't have abused a Scripture to sanction the pagan holiday pretending to be Christian and if He truly believed the Scripture that God is Lord he would love and obey Him (which includes having nothing to do with heathen customs modified to worship the God of Israel).
