Invades our homes
Invades our minds
Full of want
Full of lust
Full of crime
Trains behaviour
All in the name of entertainment

The little black box

Leaves a trail of discontentment
Invisibly breeds contempt
Please spare a thought to man's mental health
Humankind left with distrust, despair and loneliness

How I miss civil conversation
How I miss sensitivity to humankind
Any kindness will do
That little black box
So innocently presented
Is not so innocent after all
