That is 18 people that we know about - so far.

There were five children that he exposed within his domicile. Those children attended several schools during that contamination period.

Schools, where faculty is challenged with the task of teaching average hygiene skills to young children on a good day. How many children were coughing, sneezing, dripping with mucous because of the years traditional 'back to school' viral plague? How many of these children were oozing ebola virus unknowingly - during the days they attended school, prior to be requested to isolate at home? When did the bleach disinfection process begin at these schools? Hopefully before children touched any contaminated surfaces then instinctively touched their own face, or played with a pencil/crayon/marker before putting it to their lips or wiped their bottoms in the loo...then washed their hands. You're probably getting the picture here . . .kids are germ factories and the numbers are likely to grow exponentially.

UK DailyMail: British doctor who survived Ebola tells international summit of ‘horror and misery’ as he watched young children in Sierra Leone suffer slow and agonising deaths

(actually, the article corrects, it's the British nurse, Will Pooley who is not doctor)
