As much as I would hope that this will hurt NPR, I don't think anythings going to come of it. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong here.

Is this whole thing becoming Kafka-esque or Monte Python? I can't tell any more. First the guy who burned the Krayon pages gets fired for that. Now check this one out:

Hope Vivian Schiller is spending the evening digging bricks out of the porcelain convenience in her bathroom. So Williams should be discussing this with his psychiatrist, is it, Ms. Schiller? Let's hear you discuss it with the feds vis a vis its relation to the FARA.
But groups contacting the CORPORATE SPONSORS of NPR's content suggesting they carefully review that support will have a profound effect. That is 23% of their top line.
SIGNIFICANTLY the page which LISTED sponsors is now a 404 - Page not found !
Joan Kroc gave them 200+ million in 2003. That's insulation

The CAIR Observatory: Center alerts NPR, Fox News, CPB: CAIR's role in Juan Williams firing may be violation of Foreign Agents Registration Act WASHINGTON, DC: On October 21, 2010, the Center for Security Policy sent urgent alert notices to Juan Williams, news analyst for Fox News and recently fired news analyst for National Public Radio (NPR); Vivian Schiller, President and CEO, NPR; Roger Ailes, President, Fox News Channel; Bill O'Reilly, Fox News Channel; and the Inspector General of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), regarding a possible violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), warning that they may have been the target of an influence operation by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) which resulted in the firing of Williams. On October 18 on the Fox News program "The O'Reilly Factor," Williams stated "I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous." Two days later on October 20, CAIR issued a press release calling on NPR to take action against Williams. CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad called Williams' comments "irresponsible and inflammatory" and complained that "media commentators who launch rhetorical attacks on Islam and Muslims normally do not suffer the professional consequences." Interesting twist took place recently . . .
Appeals Court removes "unindicted co-conspirator" status for CAIR, ISNA, NAIT via JihadWatch.org
whereas:
Judge: Feds violated US Islamic group's rights via Politico
