Hardly dare hope for anything here, it could make such a difference. Gather a lot depends on whether elements of the military, IRG, defy the regime. How likely is that?
While anything would be better than what's there right now, anyone thinking about what the IRGC and Hizballoids do?
Khameinei is praying at some dacha and summering on Baikal... but the guys running Evin? The guys who teach everyone how to make an IED which can penetrate an M1? The guys who blow up community centers on different continents?
Will they go gently?
To make Iran and the world different it will take a river of blood, OTHERWISE the regime change will simply be in place to face an armed an ugly counter-revolution, at which point do they ask UNCLE for help?
As for Iranian-Israeli policy ... it won't change it's goal.
Kind of like how Jimmy Carter accepted the Shah for medical attention.
Ain't it funny how history repeats itself? It's just that the USA isn't supporting Iran here but really Russia is.

I'm hoping real hard, Revere. If the Iranians do it themselves it will spare so much blood.

If the Ayatollah Khamenei really does flee Iran, we will see a change of regime there.
