I haven't seen that first clip in ages!

Thanks.

I wonder how Sinatra felt about all the screams for Elvis. The bobby soxers used to scream for Sinatra.

AOW, Sinatra didn't like rock n roll and had made derogatory remarks about Elvis, prior to this, is my understanding.

You are right, though....

Two giants of the music/entertainment world, they don't produce men like these anymore.

Elvis was a great singer and entertainer, but he sure wasn't much of a man.

By the way, I was surprised to see that Frank outsang Elvis in that first clip.

Elvis was a better singer than Sinatra, in my opinion. Especially at this stage. Franks peak was the albums Only the Lonely and In The Wee Small Hours, which were done around the mid-50's.

Have you heard those albums, Carlos?

I have most of the greatest hits compilations, my fav song is "Stranger in the Nights"....it was '60, obviously it wasn't the Frank of the War years but he still had it in my opinion there.

Remember Sinatra after the JFK betrayal became, a big Republican, helping Nixon and especially Reagan, with Sammy Davis Jr.
