This is why I advise serious counterjihad bloggers not to rely on "free" hosting services like Wordpress or Google Blogger. They leave you too vulnerable. At the very least, archive your site regularly so that you can move it elsewhere if need be.

I do know that Reliapundit at Astute Bloggers is trying to spread the word about a boycott of all Wordpress blogs. In that spirit he has removed all WordPress blogs from his blogroll, INCLUDING INSTAPUNDIT.

I thought that freedom of speech was a fundamental right in this country. I may not agree with all of their opinions, but I still support their right to express themselves. I will fight for the return of this site, count on it.

A sad moment for Wordpress, they should be ashamed for turning their backs on free speech. I have no doubt that Barenaked Islam will be back up and running. All CAIR has done is give the site more publicity so I guess we should thank them.

If I have the time frame correct, this is the second time in a month that CAIR has managed to shutter BNI.

A first shuttering can usually be fought against and the blog restored.

A second time? Not likely that BNI will be back via Wordpress.
