Great pictures of the two of you. I am laughing about the giraffe comment because my husband teases me that I have a giraffe neck. Apparently it's much longer than most people's necks. Isn't that a sign of royalty? :)

you guys should get into climbing...put down the sewing machine for five seconds and strap on a harness and get to it. Lets make a bet, you climb a 5.11 by the end of the summer and I will make a bag....deal?!

Your day sounded beautiful and the pictures showed it also! What an amazing opportunity you and your girls have to visit such great placs so often. I get jealous reading and seeing all the DC sites!!
I think when you have children, it's rare (as a mum and the 'photographer' of the family) to get yourself in any pictures - and it's even RARER to get mummy and daddy in a picture TOGETHER! So well done!
Can't you start a monthly 'Guess Jeff's Animal' portrait??

Today we did so much, I am worried I may not get around to writing about it. So in case I don't these were my favorite photos of the day on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial of Jeff and I. I kept telling him not to smile like a monkey so in the bottom photo he said "how about a giraffe?" [Image]
