Sounds like you had a fun ward breakfast. We too had a ward pancake breakfast (with the very same pancakes)

How was the mento/diet coke experiment? I posted this about a week ago and thought it was amazing. However not really brave enough to try it.

I would of loved to be in DC for fireworks. Sounds like fun. I long to go there someday that is one of the destinations I want to visit--since I have never been past NC.

I can't even believe you just moved there. Apparently you're already established in your ward and neighborhood, and are completely social. You have a gift for that. The pictures are great and it looks like a totally festive and fun-filled day.

Awesome! I am so glad you had a great first official holiday, did you share any traditions with your new friends or start any new ones today? I remember that being something I instantly liked about you, was all the tradition, and I wanted to know more about you. You have the greatest space for a block party, don't you, with that park and the circle. I am just thrilled that Jeff is home with y'all!

You had one serious ward party. Ours are usually pretty lame.

It sounds like you had a perfect day. I'm so jealous. Our 4th was pretty lame, with everyone down with colds and stormy weather. A block party is a great idea and I love that you are already having fun with your neighbors and your ward.

Hi! I'm glad that you had a great 4th of July! We'll be heading down to Maryland on Sunday. Give me a call or send an email with your new phone number so I can get in touch with you. I'm actually leaving for NYC tomorrow so let me know soon! We have a bunch of fun activities planned for MD and would love to have you join us!

Am I the only one who thinks that Boy Scout in the Picture could pass for Jeff Cutler? Everytime I open your page to see if there are new posts, I think "Is that Jeff?" and then I remember that its a Norman Rockwell...

Kristi,
I can't believe I missed the bocce ball part! We learned about bocce ball here! Dave's upper level residents were italian and loved bocce and introduced us to it. We play it at all the urology get-togethers. I got Dave his own set for Christmas, it will be a fun reminder of PA, since I had never heard of it before we lived here. Had you played it before?

Bocce is the greatest game ever played. I played that one time for Prom all dressed up. It was the bombage.

Seriously you live in like a hollywood neighborhood, its like out of a movie.
