QRS, don't jump to delusions! The neo-cons have been frantic before and havent always had their way. This is not the October surprise, and it's not necessarily on the Bush agenda. let's see if the realists step in. Bush has already said he's not going to attack NK (war is always his decision, isnt it, not the Congress!)
And I still dont think Bush is stupid enough to make US troops in Iraq hostages to Iran's reprisal.

hey bob, is that you?

I sure hope you're right.

I don't know why I have such a bad feeling about this. I guess I've just been singed too bad from 9/11 - such a brazen and horrific attack.

And look what they've done in Iraq, Gaz and Lebanond - nothng short of genocide. These people will stop at nothing.

QRS, yes, that's me. I finally got signed in (not quite sure how!)

First, separate Israel from US. They're good buddies right now, but their interests are not identical. Similarities (neocons, and leaders apparently insane at times) do not make identities.

Then, take a hard look at the neo-con pundits. They make a lot of noise, but they are definitely beyond the pale of establishment thought. The establishment is always bigger, and theoretically, more powerful than the political party in power.

Sure, there's a war party, but that doesnt mean a total war party. They need peace too, perdiodically, to adjust their portfolios and enjoy the fruits.
