the situation in zimbabwe had been developing for 20+ years. It wasn't exactly a shocker.
the UN + Nelson Mandela's quest to free the apartheids, effectively destroyed functioning governments at a snap of a finger.
The blame for this mess goes to the UN and Nelson Mandela, for not properly prepairing a transition into a new era.
