I am so sorry to hear this. Michael's presence will be sorely missed. I loved painting in his garden.

Such sad news... I met Michel years ago in Truckee California when he was working on an interior project at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort! As an interior designer, I loved his style, his sense of space and the use of beautiful objects he used to create the most amazing interiors. He came to my home with his beautiful wife and we had dinner next to our own Truckee River, using a few dishes from his cookbook, Recipes from a Provencal Kitchen, for our dinner... I visited him at his atelier in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and was so impressed with his textiles and use of colors. It was eye candy at it's best and I enjoyed my time there, visiting with him and remembering what a kind person he was! I have visited L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in the past few years, find that he had moved to Morocco, but I lost touch with him. I am grateful that he came to Truckee, I was able to see him again in France ands was looking to finding him in September when I travel to Morocco. Very sad news indeed, and will always remember my luck in having met him. Rest in peace, wonderful Michel...
