Check this out! The subway tunnel running under the Hollywood hills has a buttload of video screens in it now, in order to play commercials at high-speed commuters.

Speed Racer and WALL-E were the only things I saw plugged this way; the screens have been dark for a couple of weeks now. (If you look closely, you might catch the one screen that still had the Speed Racer logo on it.) Maybe it's too expensive.
