I'm not sure what's weirder, that they're completely ignoring that Cronenberg's flick was itself a remake, or that "Cronenberg is working on an operatic version of the creepy man-insect story."
Of all the many, many property crossovers we endure, the recent choices for turning movies into musicals baffles me the most. Especially since posters of this crazy chick started getting in my face every time I take the train.
