I really want to believe this is a joke, but the production values seem too high. The dad is particularly egregious (I like Daniel Stern, but that's a baaaad casting choice).
I thought it was a hoax too, Octo. But then google told me no, it's for real. Sigh. I do love how every headline on the google feed is like, "Holiday Horror!" or "Terrible!" or "No one asked, Hollywood delivered anyway."
Putting Randy as a major focus in the film alone is just a horrible choice. I didn't punch my computer but I nearly threw up listening to his snarky comments.

I punched my computer when the kid said "I can think of a few words". Nevertheless I'm morbidly curious and have no choice but to watch it.
