Wow, is this really the biggest movie of the year? Have to think about that one. I guess the franchise has some serious street cred. It hobnobbed with the original SW trilogy, after all.

[Image] From cinemablend, This is more of a reminder than anything. We’re finally getting an Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer next week. Happy Valentines day, have some Harrison.
It’s been rumored since early December that Indy 4 would get its first trailer in front of The Spiderwick Chronicles, and next week when it hits theaters Variety confirms it’ll be bringing the Indiana Jones 4 trailer with it. It’s a little odd when you think about it. The biggest movie of the year is only four months away but we haven’t had anything except a poster and a couple of stills advertising it. Iron Man has had trailers in theaters and on TV for many months now. Nothing for Indy.
On the other hand, it is Indiana Jones. Do they really need to advertise it? Just make sure people know when and where it’s showing, and the theaters will be crammed. Why waste money on an early marketing budget? No need to build anticipation.
