My vote was for JSP as well but for a different Haiku. This one made me laugh loud and hard, it just struck me that way: Rudy was cutie She became fond of foody Then she was replaced
Yeah, that one was almost the winner. But you know, I guess "stab" is just a comedy word in my book. The stabbing one really cracked me up. So, uh, I guess you know how to make me laugh if I ever judge again.
I'm simultaneously overcome with joy for winning and filled with rage for seeing the picture of that punk-ass kid! The 2nd picture also bothers me because it forces me to come to terms with the fact that the Liar Liar kid can kick my ass.
Anyway thanks! I promise to come up with a better topic than swine flu next week.
It's Johnny Sweatpants. I know, I know, what you usually like to see is all the praise and love for everybody's great efforts, all the honorable mentions. Well, you all did just wonderfully. But this one made me laugh out loud: "Liar Liar" kid - Would you like to hear the truth? I want to stab you
It's not only hilarious but it's economical and somehow contains a little twist in each line. Classic JSP. While I'm over here counting syllables on my fingers, this guy is writing haikus that sound like natural conversation. He makes it look easy. Maybe it's all the farmer's market produce he's eating--good for the synapses. Congrats, JSP!

I particularly liked this one JSP did:
Far worse than the drugs
Is the Jesus addiction
Death to Kirk Cameron

I like the foody one because it rhymes. I just realized that our haikus almost never rhyme and therefore we all suck at this.
Jeepers! The Liar Liar kid turned into a thug!

I still can't believe Tina Yothers made it through the day unscathed...

Do you really think Tina Yothers makes it through any given day unscathed?

Congrats to JSP! Once again my best intentions fell to the wayside. I'm sorry I didn't get anything in.
Well done, all!

Congrats, JSP! This should quench your blind hatred and rage for another week!
Thanks for the props, 50. I thought I out-clevered myself on that Furlong one.
And JPX was...gooooood...

Stan's "great career, fatso" was also delightful as was JPX's mention of Edna's Edibles.
Where was Ass Chap this week anyway? Oh, isn't she seeing Clapton or something?
