Fascinating! These images you've found are hilarious; are they a coincidence or do they actually pertain to the book?

Great post! We should do more book reviews here. I’m glad the book lived up to your expectations. The quick blurb I read about it when you were visiting sounded like it was a lot of fun.

OMFG are we going to play hot potato with the Trekkie book? :-P

Kevin thanks so much for the link! I couldn't stop laughing when the Vulcan Trekker tried to pull a neck pinch on a Klingon zombie!

Geek slap! I believe, Crystal, that vulcan was a TrekKIE because he's dressed like Spock from the original series. A TrekKER would be wearing a costume dating from Next Generation or something later.

Sorry ladies, I'm taken!

That trailer was a hoot! I loved it when the green chick slapped that guy and left a huge green slap mark.

Octo, I don't know where you got that idea from.

I was under the impression that Trekker referred to a single Star Trek fan, and TrekkIES was the plural. Wikipedia suggests that to call fans Trekkies suggests they are crazed fans of the franchise; Trekkers, on the other hand, are more reasonable members of society.

But I will also concede that I should look into more than one website to confirm this.

Aw, shucks, what do I know? I'm just a Niner.

I have read this and it is a very good read. I hope Scfy gets a hold of this and makes a weekend movie.

I dedicate an entire conversation to the trekkie vs trekker debate in the book. Could not resist.
