I find it pretty amusing that the patients are allowed to wander around when it's clear they won't recall how to get back or even where to get back to.
The "I have amnesia, so I'll fuck this guy" thing is such a cinematic trope, i.e. only in movies does getting naked pop up as a course of action so often. I'm looking at you, beginning of Cannibal Holocaust.
And what shady hospital can afford to feed their patients lobster soup anyway??

[Image] (1980) * Lame, lame, lame. This was my first introduction to French director Jean Rollin, widely known for sleazy vampire flicks. This non-vampire film was about a group of people with amnesia like symptoms locked away in a hospital under the supervision of an idiotic doctor and his drawn on eyebrows sidekick. Some notable moments in this film include the twenty-minute sex scene at the beginning of the movie. This love fest was between one of the escaped amnesia victims and the guy who picked her up off the side of the road. Since she couldn’t remember anything, she decided that all she had left was the present and enjoying her body. I’m sure he felt like he had hit the jackpot. She even told him it was as if she was a virgin having sex for the first time. An agonizing moment was when one of the amnesia patients was trying to eat a bowl of lobster soup. Apparently their problem causes them to start losing motor functions, and with shaking hands she repeatedly tried to tie a napkin around her neck, and then draw the spoon to her lips, but instead she tossed it all over her face. Also, no one wears underwear under his or her clothes. Especially funny is the janitor who sports a jumpsuit with the zipper part way down exposing a few chest hairs. For sexual favors, he offers to help the amnesic patients find their rooms when they wander away at night. In one scene he decides to rape one of the patients while still wearing his jumpsuit.
