Even though I loved Quarantine and Cloverfield I uniformly anticipate watching a FF* movie with some level of dread. Even watching Cloverfield a second time required a deep, cleansing breath beforehand. I don't know what it is.

(Found Footage or Fantastic Four, although with the latter I know exactly what it is.)

I'm very interested in your Ghosthunters rant. I haven't seen a single episode but I gather they've snagged photographic evidence of exactly zero ghosts.

I can't watch Ghosthunters any more than I can watch a show about psychics. The very fact that ghosts don't exist immediately takes away any "suspense".

I like the Paranormal films, but I'm a sucker for "found footage".

Haha, I immediately took FF to mean Fantastic Four.

I had the displeasure of watching Ghosthunters with a couple of *polite cough* "believers". It's pretty much what you think - a camera crew running around playing make believe. What pissed me off about it was how convincing the "experts" were with their knowledge of the paranormal. If you're not accustomed to critical thinking then the show would make you go running to your nearest psychic.

I said "Take out all the character building crap and they'd have a pretty darn scary 20 minute short"

That coincides with your, "When you remove the mundane conversations and bickering then you're left with a solid half hour that could have fit well in as part of an anthology." comment and you gave it the same rating I did.

Also you have proclaimed yourself to be always right, therefore in agreeing with me that makes me right as well so the debate is over. Ha!

Those Paranormal shows are just a bunch of people wandering around in the dark going, "What was that? Did you hear that?" total crap!

Those Ghosthunter shows drive me and desroc crazy! They never get any "proof" of anything on film. If anything does "happen" it's conveniently just off camera. Stoopid.

I still love this movie, and Mary Poppins too. So nyah.
