Octo, your title is perfect! From the start Peter has been an unwelcome nuisance. He injected himself into DD's undercover work without being invited and nearly cost everyone their lives. Think about it, he didn't do anything helpful for the past 3 months (is it still Valentine's Day?).
Wouldn't Kingpin test the hypno-gas on a henchman rather than simply assume that it worked?
