I seem to remember something about how they emphasize "JASON" so prominently, like I'm supposed to be all impressed that "JASON" is involved. Instead, I was like, "Who the fuck is this 'Jason'? What's the big deal?"
I watched this. Saturday morning live-action fare that usually heralded the end of the Saturday morning line-up since it was on later in the morning. Jason of Star Command was actually a buffed-out spin-off of Space Academy, with a cooler spaceship, older characters, and more of a good vs. bad thang.
When I worked in children’s books my co-worker Jane said she knew Eric Greene from college; he was the actor who played Loki on Space Academy, the annoying kid character (an alien orphan with telekinetic powers and a love of pranks – ugh). For all four years they were in school together, neither he nor Jane ever encountered anybody who had ever seen the show, and she never quite believed him. Then I showed up and ruined everything.
"Anyone ever heard of this?"

Looks vaguely familiar. But no, never heard of it. Should I have?
