I was intrigued by this trailer but much of that was because the actress also plays a major character in Game of Thrones. I kind of thought I could see the basic shape of the whole plot in the trailer, and you've confirmed this. I still might see it someday.

Happy newlyweds Bea and Paul decide to honeymoon in a remote cabin in the woods. They are giddy anticipating a week of hiking, swimming, boating, and chatting with the locals as they begin their new lives together. Paul is a nice guy and Bea is quirky and fun like Dharma on ‘Dharma and Greg”.* They are in love and on the first day of their honeymoon they spend it having relations and embracing nature. Things begin to change when Bea is bathed in a strange light beam while the two slumber on the first night of their vacation. The honeymoon takes a turn for the worse when Bea sleepwalks into the woods one night and Paul finds her wearing a tattered nightgown with strange marks on her legs. At first Bea’s behavior is just slightly off. She forgets to put the right ingredients in the French toast she makes for breakfast and she forgets how to make coffee. Soon, however, she does not appear to be entirely cognizant of Bea’s identity. She forgets details about her life with Paul and at one point Paul sees her practicing certain lines in front of the bedroom mirror, “My name is Bea. I am married to Paul. We live in Brooklyn…” Soon Bea makes up excuses to avoid sex and despite denying it, she is completely emotionally detached from Paul as well as herself. Just what is going on here?

We know exactly what’s going on, which reduces some of the fun. The ‘Honeymoon’ leads do a terrific job conveying the (theoretical) thrill of being newly married and in love. I liked both characters a lot and it was difficult to watch the disintegration of their relationship. Unfortunately there are no real surprises as we have all seen this story before. I would recommend this film as long as you know what you’re getting.

It sounds almost exactly like a film I just watched but substitute lovers for best friends. Hate when films are predictable.
