Happy Birthday, Jake, how did this happen? It goes by so damn fast. Benjamin will be 15 this August and he is just finishing his freshman year of high school - how the hell do I have a kid in high school when I remember being in high school like it was yesterday! Jake is awesome because he has awesome parents!
Holy crap! That is amazing. Happy Birthday Jake! I can remember him at four when I'd just come home for Christmas. I had some extra, already-opened Justice League action figures to give him, so I mentioned that I had an early present for him but he had to wait a little while. Well that little while was less than an hour because he mournfully focussed on the present so intensely I just handed it over. "What are you thinking about, Jake?" Sad little four-year-old: "My present." What would you do?
"Eleven!"
