That's great that you're taking the class Octo! The only critique I would give on that image is that the creature looks like he's floating because of the shadow.
Yeah, I know that shadow is far from correct but with those stark shadows in the background it felt worse than no shadow at all. I should probably use a different location shot.
The distort and skew features are great for shadows.

Yeah, it's still pretty early in the class. This is the first chunk of work that isn't a follow-along-with-the-book thing. I'm sure it could be better but I have to do another one before tomorrow evening. I know a couple of you have phat knowledge, and I welcome your suggestions to the extent I can understand them.
